Locality:Swamp No. 1 Quarry, Topsham, Sagadahoc County, Maine
Description:Three unusual flattened crystals of red-brown almandine garnet with dark muscovite mica on white albite matrix. The almandine crystals show complete dodecahedral form but are compressed in one axis resulting in 7 mm thick disc-shaped crystals.
Overall Size:8x4x4 cm
Crystals:13-17 mm
