Locality:Garnet Hill, Calaveras County, California
Description:Well crystallized lustrous brown trapezohedral grossular garnet crystals up to 16 mm across with greenish vesuvianite and colorless calcite. A few of the garnet crystals are incomplete, revealing hollow centers replaced by vesuvianite. Ex. Fred DeVito (1937-2004)
