Mineral:Galena with Cerussite surface coating
Locality:Mineral Point, Iowa County, Wisconsin
Description:Cluster of cubic galena crystals with surface alteration to brown cerussite. Undoubtedly this was found in the old mine dumps where it had been exposed to the weather, causing the surface alteration that would result in a pseudomorph if it continued.
Overall Size:4x3x2 cm
Crystals:5-18 mm
