Mineral:Sphalerite (Spinel-law twinned) with Calcite and Galena
Locality:Borieva Reka Mine, Madan District, Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria
Description:Brilliantly lustrous black sphalerite crystals to 13 mm with tan calcite crystals to 2 mm scattered on the surfaces with a few cubic gray-metallic galena crystals to 9 mm. The sphalerite crystals are complexly twinned on {111} following the Spinel Law.
