Description:Botryoidal translucent colorless melanophlogite crystals overgrown on an unidentified rhombic crystals, either magnesite, calcite or dolomite, to 1 mm. The melanophlogite has a silky surface luster an requires high magnification to see. Ex. J. Cilen (1916-1997) #5127
