Locality:Fannin County, Georgia
Description:Sericite (fine-grained muscovite mica) pseudomorph after a prismatic staurolite crystal with no matrix attached. Many small brown 1 mm almandine garnet crystals are scattered over the surfaces. The original staurolite form is discernible on all sides.
