Locality:Sterlingbush, Lewis County, New York
Description:Transparent calcite crystals with faint pink color from the famous calcite cavern discovered in a limestone quarry in 1906. The calcite crystals have clean, textured crystal faces and a few pyrite crystal inclusions. The crystals are repeatedly twinned. Ex. Chas. W. Velte Jr. (1914-1987) collection #726 (no label)
