Description:Plate partially covered with lustrous dodecahedral garnet crystals that vary from brown-black andradite to lighter brown goldmanite, a vanadium-rich garnet species. The specimen was acquired originally from one of the coauthors that described goldmanite. ex. Joseph J. Urban (1915-1997); ex. Dr. A.J. Gu'de, III; ex. Dr. R.H. Moench of the USGS, coauthor of the description of goldmanite
