Locality:Pyi-Gyi-Taung Mountain, near Let-Pan-Hla, Mandalay, Myanmar (Burma)
Description:Many lustrous rubellite tourmaline crystals, the pink gem variety of the mineral species elbaite, to 7 mm long on albite matrix with a few transparent quartz crystals to 10 mm long. The pink color is bright and contrasts nicely against the light matrix.
