Mineral:Almandine-Spessartine Garnet with Albite and Quartz
Locality:Chhamachu, Gilgit-Skardu Road, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan
Description:Large 35 mm red-brown garnet crystal with dodecahedral form modified by trapezohedral edge faces intergrown with white albite plus transparent colorless quartz crystals to 13 mm long. Both almandine and spessartine occur at the locality.
