Mineral:Sphalerite on Quartz with Dolomite
Locality:Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee
Description:Highly lustrous translucent red-brown sphalerite crystals up to 10 mm across on matrix coated with colorless quartz crystals up to 1 mm with scattered translucent colorless dolomite crystals to 2 mm. The sphalerite crystals show excellent translucency.
