Description: | Lustrous transparent aquamarine crystals, the blue gem variety of the mineral species beryl, up to 25 mm long on platy muscovite mica crystals to 12 mm. the aquamarine beryl crystals are hexagonal form, with basal pinacoid terminations, and are striated. |
