Mineral:Quartz (Japan Law-twinned) Reverse-Scepter Formation
Locality:Ambatondrazaka, Toamasina Province, Madagascar
Description:Colorless quartz crystals that are Japan-law twinned and show reverse scepter shape (the crystal gets smaller towards the termination). The termination zones have pale pink amethystine color, but too faint to call the specimen amethyst.
Overall Size:26x18x7 mm
Crystals:4-16 mm
