Locality:Lavra da Ilha, Taquaral, Jequitinhonha River, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Description:Parallel-growth of pale-pink rose quartz crystals over an earlier generation of smoky quartz. Rose quartz crystals occur at only a few places throughout the world, notably from this locality below the water level of the surrounding Jequitinhonha River.
