Description:Thin formation of native copper with acicular (hair-like) red chalcotrichite crystals, a variety of the mineral species cuprite, on the edges and throughout in small cavities. The chalcotrichite crystals look beautiful under magnification. Ex. Chas. W. Velte Jr. (1914-1987) collection
