Locality:Mount Apatite, Auburn, Androscoggin County, Maine
Description:Translucent colorless hydroxylherderite crystals up to 11 mm on white albite with silvery muscovite mica crystals to 3 mm and an unidentified brown micromineral. The hydroxylherderite crystals are pseudo-rhombohedral form with complex faces on the edges. Ex. Chas. W. Velte Jr. (1914-1987) collection
