Mineral:Calcite and Barite over Fluorite
Locality:Rosiclare Sub-District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Partial crystal of purple fluorite completely overgrown with transparent silky colorless calcite crystals to 12 mm with rosettes to 20 mm across of bladed white barite crystals. The calcite crystals are scalenohedral form with rhombohedral terminations.
Overall Size:7.5x6.5x4 cm
