Locality:Wilbur Mine, Tri-State Lead Mining District, near Treece, Cherokee County, Kansas
Description:Bright gray-metallic cubo-octahedral galena crystals to 5 mm on larger black sphalerite crystals up to 35 mm across with complex crystallization patterns on the surfaces, plus tan-colored dolomite crystals to 5 mm. Uncommon to get specific mine locality. Ex. Chas. W. Velte Jr. (1914-1987) collection
