Description:Transparent emerald-green chrome-rich grossular garnet microcrystals coating the surfaces of olive-green diopside matrix. The garnets from this locality are often misidentified as uvarovite garnets, but are a chrome-rich variety of grossular. Ex. Ned Blandford, originally acquired in 1958
