|Description:||Elongated plate of lustrous brown grossular garnet crystals with white calcite filling crevices. The bottom was sawn flat to remove excess matrix without damage. The grossular garnet crystals are dodecahedral with trapezohedral edge faces. Ex. Harold D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex.
