Description:Lustrous translucent demantoid garnet crystals, the green variety of andradite, in tan-colored matrix. Many crystals are complete, but others are incomplete. Remnants of metallic magnetite are visible on the underside. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School
