Locality:Lavrion (Laurium) Mining District, Attica Peninsula, Greece
Description:Translucent pale blue-green smithsonite 3 mm thick layer lining front and rear of the specimen with doubly-terminated colorless scalenohedral calcite crystals up to 10 mm long overgrown on the smithsonite on the front of the specimen. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School
