Locality:Hilton Mine, Scordale, 4 km NE of Hilton, Cumbria, England
Description:Transparent yellow lustrous cubic fluorite crystals up to 30 mm across with select faces overgrown with translucent colorless calcite crystals to 5 mm across. The calcite crystals are stubby hexagonal prisms with rhombic terminations. Ex. Harold D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School
