Locality:Oronogo Mutual Mine, Tri-State Lead Mining District, Jasper County, Missouri
Description:Translucent colorless hemimorphite crystals in spherical rosettes to 2.5 mm diameter on a thick crust that is crystallized front and rear. The hemimorphite crystals are colorless, but appear brown because of the color of the underlying matrix. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School
