Description: | Gray-black metallic pyrolusite crystals in a thick vein formation that has finely developed crystal surfaces on the face of the specimen. The rear has an advertisement from a mineral auction at 19 East Fourteenth Street in New York City. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, (see Final Disposition Of Some American Collections Of Minerals, Frederick A. Canfield, 1923), bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex.
