Description: | Sharp tetrahedrite crystals to 11 mm across with yellow-metallic coating of chalcopyrite, on milky quartz-rich matrix. Minor cubo-octahedral crystals of gray-metallic galena are scattered throughout. The chalcopyrite coating is incomplete in a few areas. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School |
