Description: | Classic eightling-twinned dark rutile crystals with no matrix attached. The eightling-twin is the result of repeated twinning in a circular formation producing eight crystals each twinned to the adjacent crystals. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, (see Final Disposition Of Some American Collections Of Minerals, Frederick A. Canfield, 1923), bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex.
