Locality:Freiberg District, Saxony, Germany
Description:Chain-like aggregates of interconnected cubic dark-metallic acanthite crystals with remnants of brown matrix in the crevices between the acanthite crystals. Formed as argentite (stable only above 173 C) and alters to acanthite below 173 C. Ex. Wards ca. 1900
