Locality:Violet Claims, Wah Wah Mountains, Beaver County, Utah
Description:Single crystal of red beryl in white rhyolite matrix. Red beryl, also called Bixbite, is the rarest color of the mineral species and only occurs in Utah. The red beryl crystal is prismatic hexagonal form with flat basal pinacoid termination.
