Locality:Mount Dayakou tungsten mine, 6 km northeast of Mengdong village, Malipo County, Yunnan Province, China
Description:Elongated hexagonal emerald crystals, the green gem variety of beryl, embedded in a quartz vein running through schist with brown limonite staining throughout and small patches of scheelite. The emerald crystals were in solid rock and are unterminated.
