Locality:Clay County, North Carolina
Description:Green actinolite matrix (variety smaragdite) with small, crudely formed ruby crystals, the pink variety of the mineral species corundum. Though the museum label says this is from Clay County, it could actually be from nearby Macon County. Ex. Upsala College
