Locality:Formazza Valley, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Italy
Description:Translucent white pseudo-rhombohedral adularia crystals, a variety of orthoclase feldspar, on biotite-rich matrix. The adularia crystals have smooth clean faces except on the X-face {101} that has slight striations. Many are twinned crystals.
