Mineral:Aragonite over Sulfur
Locality:Agrigento District (Girgenti), Sicily, Italy
Description:Prismatic colorless aragonite crystals over yellow sulfur. The aragonite is pseudohexagonal form, the result of cyclic twinning and the twin planes are easily visible on the termination faces. The aragonite fluoresces and phosphoresces under UV.
