Description:Prismatic translucent emerald crystal, the green variety of the mineral species beryl. The emerald crystal has simple hexagonal form with basal pinacoid termination on one end. The surfaces are heavily etched and have remnants of the pocket clay. acquired from Leonard Himes in 1996
