Locality:Avondale, Delaware County, Pennsylvania
Description:Several dark brown garnet crystals in muscovite-mica matrix. The garnets at this locality range from spessartine to almandine and single crystals can have both species present. The garnets are flattened along one axis. Ex. George W. Gehman (1871-1961)
