Mineral:Prehnite pseudomorphs after Anhydrite with Calcite
Locality:Lane's Quarry, Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts
Description:Finger-shaped formations to 65 mm long of translucent green prehnite epimorphs over anhydrite with beige-colored calcite crystals to 5 mm on the rear. The thin anhydrite crystals were overgrown with prehnite, then the anhydrite dissolved.
