Mineral:Calcite with Pyrite inclusions
Locality:Faraday Mine, Bancroft, Ontario, Canada
Description:Rhombic cleavage of transparent calcite with brassy-colored pyrite inclusions. The pyrite inclusions are elongated, needle-like crystals with yellow-metallic luster. One broad face is textured, the result of the pyrite inclusions. Some faces are scuffed.
