Locality:Crystal Peak area, 6.5 km northeast of Lake George, Park-Teller Counties, Colorado
Description:Well crystallized amazonite crystals, the blue-green variety of microcline feldspar caused by lead impurities, to 55 mm long with colorless platy albite crystals to 5 mm along one side. The amazonite is mottled with some areas showing intense color. Ex. Bob Holzer (1934-2009) collection
