Description:Lustrous Herkimer Diamonds, the doubly-terminated variety of colorless quartz crystals from the region around Herkimer, New York, on limestone matrix. The smaller quartz crystals are brown due to hydrocarbon inclusions, locally called anthraxolite. Ex. Bob Holzer (1934-2009) collection
