Mineral:Fluorapatite on Albite with Elbaite Tourmaline
Locality:Strickland Quarry, Collins Hill, Portland, Middlesex County, Connecticut
Description:Translucent pale-purple apatite crystals to 3 mm on white albite crystals to 5 mm with an incomplete transparent green elbaite tourmaline crystals on one edge and a group of smaller elbaite crystals to 1.5 mm on one corner. Ex. Bruce Jarnot
