Locality:Prospect Park Quarry, Prospect Park, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Quartz epimorph after prismatic anhydrite crystal 50 mm long. It appears the anhydrite crystal formed first, then a thin layer of quartz, the anhydrite dissolved, then a second growth of quartz grew on all surfaces of the thin quartz first generation. Ex. Joe Cilen (1916-1997) #2413
