Locality:Mount Dayakou tungsten mine, 6 km northeast of Mengdong village, Malipo County, Yunnan Province, China
Description:Exceptionally long emerald crystal, the green variety of beryl, in limonite-stained milky quartz. This specimen was obtained in two pieces and restored, a crack through the matrix is visible. The emerald is one of the largest from the locality.
