Locality:Gyp Cave, Clark County, Nevada
Description:Cluster of long slender white selenite crystals, the colorless variety of the mineral species gypsum, on rounded cauliflower-like gypsum formations. Most surfaces of the selenite crystals are coated with white microcrystals, probably gypsum. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #BL328; acquired in 1941 from Schortmanns
