Locality:Rattlesnake Mountain Quarry, 1.25 km northeast of East Stonham, knoll at 1000' southeast of Rattlesnake Mountain, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Elongated translucent aquamarine crystal, the blue-green variety of beryl, exposed along the edge of a large muscovite mica crystal. The upper half of the aquamarine crystal is exposed front and rear making the translucency readily visible.
