Mineral:Strontianite on Calcite over Fluorite
Locality:Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Bright white strontianite microcrystalline coating 3 mm thick over colorless translucent scalenohedral calcite crystals to 4 mm long on dark-purple translucent fluorite. The strontianite fluoresces bright white under UV illumination.
