Locality:Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Translucent green prehnite epimorphs after elongated anhydrite crystals to 50 mm long. The anhydrite formed first, then was partially overgrown with prehnite, finally the anhydrite dissolved. Note the prehnite is open along one side.
Overall Size:7x4.5x4 cm
Crystals:4-5 mm
