Description: | Transparent blocky kunzite crystal, the pink gem variety of spodumene, in bluish cleavelandite with partial coating of tan-colored cookeite. There is a large kunzite crystal with scattered fragments of other kunzite crystals embedded in the cookeite. Collected by Mrs. MacDonald, owner of MacDonald's Mineral Museum in Saco, Maine |
