Mineral:Andradite-Grossular Garnet in Chalcedony
Locality:Trantimou, Kayes Region, Mali
Description:Lustrous brown dodecahedral garnet crystals in botryoidal white chalcedony. The garnets are either andradite or grossular, as both occur at this locality and they have similar appearance. Several outer edges have contacts from other crystals.
Overall Size:3.5x3x2.5 cm
Crystals:2-15 mm
