Locality:Pond Hill, near Pearl Lake, Lisbon, Grafton County, New Hampshire
Description:Black dodecahedral almandine garnet crystals to 9 mm with prismatic staurolite crystals to 8 mm on biotite schist. This is the weathered face of the exposure and the crystals stand proud of the schist because they were weather-resistant. Has sawn bottom.
