Mineral:Harmotome on Calcite
Locality:Clashgorm Mine, Strontian, North West Highlands, Scotland
Description:Translucent brown rhombohedral calcite crystals to 23 mm with crystal faces that are composed of layered growths. Sparkling white harmotome crystals to 2 mm are overgrown on select faces of the calcite crystals. The calcite fluoresces white under UV. Ex. Paul Nicolson (UK)
